- Do we need GPS hardware?
- Usually not. The driver's phone provides accurate enough tracking for most operations, which removes the hardware cost entirely. Dedicated trackers make sense for high-value or unattended cargo.
- What happens when there is no signal?
- The app stores updates locally and syncs when coverage returns, so nothing is lost on dead stretches.
